Our New Jersey Recognition Hearing

On Friday, April, 21, we had our New Jersey Recognition of Adoption hearing in Woodbury, NJ. Even though Elizabeth has been part of our family since November 9, in order to get a New Jersey birth certificate, we needed to go through the recognition hearing. It was very informal and before a judge. She was very nice and made the whole process very nice. After the hearing, the judge gave Elizabeth a stuffed mommy lamb with a baby lamb attached.
